Location: Hill Fire is burning in area about 4-5 miles north of Bullards Bar Reservoir (approx 20 miles northwest of Nevada City) in brush and timber plantations in the Tahoe National Forest. Resources: Approximately 125 personnel are attacking the fire including 6 engines, 5 crews, 2 dozers, 5 water tenders, 1 helicopter, and 10 smoke jumpers. Fire is about 30 acres in size - no homes threatened. Agencies: Forest Service, Camptonville Fire Department, Pike Fire Department, North San Juan Fire Department and Calfire.
