CA-AEU-Palmer - Vegetation Fire - Structure threat Posted: 30 Jul 2007 11:10 PM CDT CA-AEU-Palmer Location: CAMERON PARK - East of Cameron Park Drive and north of Highway 50, on Palmer Drive and Loma Drive. Sizeup: 10 acres in brush, spotting, Structure threat Resources: Full wildland response, Air Show 4 total tankers Additional engines Additional: Residents of 12 homes along Loma Drive were forced to evacuate as a precaution There are currently nine engines and three fire crews at the scene. The Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross has established an evacuation center at Ponderosa High School, 3661 Ponderosa Road in Shingle Springs.
